The governors of this highly successful, partially selective, mixed school invite applications for the post of Teacher of Boys’ PE. We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our very successful and very well-resourced PE Department, as part of a team of PE specialists. You should be able to teach students up to and including A level. Extracurricular sport is a fundamental part of life at Owen’s and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute fully to this area. Commitment to after-school and a number of Saturday morning fixtures is essential. At Owen’s we aim to provide a wide range of meaningful opportunities which encourage as many of our young people to be as active and competitive as possible.
In 2024 A level examinations:
● 66% of A Level PE results were graded A*-B with 100% graded A*-C.
In 2024 GCSE examinations:
● 38% of GCSE PE results were grade 8 or 9, with 90% achieving a grade 9 - 5.
